Before striking out on her own, she cut her teeth at several prestigious estates, from \u003cstrong\u003eChâteau Figeac\u003c\/strong\u003e to \u003cstrong\u003eSimon Bize and Dujac\u003c\/strong\u003e, before joining \u003cstrong\u003eDidier Fornerol in Corgoloin\u003c\/strong\u003e. She worked by his side for several years, eventually vinifying the 2023 vintage and ultimately being chosen by Didier to take over the estate upon his departure. \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan class=\"il\"\u003eLeovila\u003c\/span\u003e was officially born in 2024\u003c\/strong\u003e, with the first vintage entirely signed by Léocadie arriving in \u003cstrong\u003e2025\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e6.5 hectares in the south of the Côte de Nuits\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLéocadie has thus taken over approximately \u003cstrong\u003e6.5 hectares of vines around Corgoloin\u003c\/strong\u003e, in the far south of the \u003cstrong\u003eCôte de Nuits\u003c\/strong\u003e, with plots in Bourgogne and \u003cstrong\u003eCôte de Nuits-Villages\u003c\/strong\u003e. Naturally, this includes \u003cstrong\u003ePinot Noir and Chardonnay\u003c\/strong\u003e, but also \u003cstrong\u003eAligoté and Gamay\u003c\/strong\u003e, along with some very old vines, notably in the \u003cem\u003elieu-dit\u003c\/em\u003e \u003cstrong\u003eLa Fée\u003c\/strong\u003e, which was planted nearly a century ago. Upon taking over, she immediately moved the vineyard toward \u003cstrong\u003eorganic farming\u003c\/strong\u003e, with a desire to continue letting these terroirs speak for themselves without seeking to disrupt what is already working well.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eFine, fresh Burgundy wines without excess\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn the cellar, Léocadie strives above all for \u003cstrong\u003edelicacy and freshness\u003c\/strong\u003e. Extractions are gentle, \u003cstrong\u003ewhole-cluster fermentation\u003c\/strong\u003e is used when she feels it is appropriate, and new oak remains very limited, at around \u003cstrong\u003e10% maximum\u003c\/strong\u003e.
