The grapes come from the upper part of the Rókalyuki vineyard, which is stonier and well-drained, with a mixture of clay, sand, sandstone, and basalt. In 2022, vinification was 70% whole-cluster, followed by 13 months on the lees in large foudres before being bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfur. In the glass, you’ll find small red fruits, a subtle vegetal touch, pepper, and that volcanic salinity which provides immense length.
