The grapes are harvested later than those of Les Petites Fleurs, with the addition of one-third old vines (ex-Marcottes). Eleven months of aging in sandstone jars, barrels, and foudres refines the structure without added sulfur. The nose opens with black cherry, fresh plum, and a spicy hint.
