Béréche & Fils

Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche are the guarantors of this beautiful family home in the Montagne de Reims. Founded in 1847, the estate is located in Ludes, northwest of the Montagne de Reims. Vincent is responsible for the vineyard, Raphaël is in the cellar. The plot is mainly composed of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
The two brothers' primary objective is to maintain a close relationship with their vines, the starting point for their wines. The land is plowed and partially grassed to regulate the vigor of the vines. Good management of the plant cover allows them to do without all the synthetic chemicals that we unfortunately still see too much in Champagne. The soil is a major concern for the Bérêche who fertilize it organically. No systematic treatment in the area, interventions are intended to be punctual and measured.
In the cellar, winemaking is intended to be as gentle as possible thanks to two ingredients: patience and time. Today we find the house's champagnes on the most beautiful tables, and the names of Le Cran, Rive Gauche, Mailly and even Campania Remensis make the mouths of the finest Champagne lovers water.
