About

Marée Haute is a cellar specializing in organic, biodynamic and natural wines .
It was founded in spring 2020 by Clara & Baptiste with the aim of promoting the work of artisan winegrowers on the island of Oléron, and throughout France.

High tide is:

A personal selection of artisan wines carefully made while traveling through the vineyard.
A wine merchant close to his customers and available to advise them online and in the cellar.
More than 200 estates visited every year, from old natural wine savvy to the latest established winegrowers; rare allocations to friends’ wines.
A selection based on taste, encounters and terrain.

Who are we ?

👧🏻 Clara worked in spirits for several years. She contributed to the great fame of Archibald - the French distillery tonic made near Bordeaux - and the Folle Envie aperitif. A native of the Île d'Oléron and daughter of fishmongers, respect for fresh produce, working in short supply chains and passion for nature are among her values.

👨🏼Baptiste grew up on the island of Oléron. He worked for a biodynamic wine estate in Burgundy & discovered natural wine several years ago. Since then, he has continued to travel to France and elsewhere to meet these exciting and passionate winegrowers.
