Marie Courtin

The Marie Courtin estate is a story of powerful women. Marie Courtin - the great-grandmother of Dominique Moreau, the current winemaker in charge of the estate - was in charge of the estate during the First World War. At the time, her husband was at the front and she worked the land on horseback. The foundations of the estate were thus laid, in the village of Polisot, in the Côte des Bar region. When Dominique decided to launch her own business, organic and biodynamic viticulture were obvious choices. Dominique Moreau wanted to be a homeopath, an acupuncturist... Today, 4.5 hectares of vines are worked in this way. Herbal teas and natural products are the allies of this winemaker, whose reputation is praised the world over. Producing 20,000 bottles a year, her precision work enables her to satisfy even the most curious wine-lovers.
