The Sheep Vine

La Vigne Mouton is an estate originally founded by Sébastien Boisseau. It was in 2012 with his wife Delphine that they decided to settle in the town of Bray, in the far west of Mâconnais.
In 2020, Margaux Calland and Valentin Richoux decided to take over the farm and continue the adventure in organic and biodynamic agriculture. Margaux and Valentin meet on the benches of the wine school in Beaune. Passionate about the vineyard and wine professions, he dreams of living their profession together. Each trained separately in Burgundy, they met Sébastien and Delphine and decided to take the plunge. From 2020, they all work together on the estate, then organize its transmission.
The estate covers 7.5 hectares of vines located within a 2km radius around the farm. Note that some vines are over 120 years old.
Faithful to the original philosophy of the estate, Margaux and Valentin make the wine as naturally as possible, with native yeasts and with little SO2. We were seduced by their pure, fresh and mineral whites.
