Gilles Troullier

Gilles Troullier has been making wine for over 20 years. He began by cutting his teeth in Domaine Chapoutier in the Rhône and when the estate chose to set up in Languedoc, they entrusted him with the management of the group's activities. At the same time, Gilles acquired a few plots of vines and began to make wine on his own. He kept this dual role for 15 years before devoting himself today full-time to his vines and his wines. He likes to vinify plot by plot, the majority of his vintages are aged in wood, generally for around ten months, and are bottled before the following harvest.
