Marcel Lapierre
Domaine Marcel Lapierre , the living, juicy and luminous Morgon
A story in Villié-Morgon, the school of fruit and living things
Firmly anchored to Villié-Morgon , the Domaine Marcel Lapierre is one of the most iconic Beaujolais wines, with a vineyard of approximately 18 hectares , mostly in Morgon , planted with Gamay . The estate is cultivated in organic farming Since the 1980s, the spirit of the house has been built around a simple idea: preserve the grapes, respect the soil, and let the vintage speak for itself without makeup.
Winemaking without additives, “sulfur-free” and with a touch of indulgence
Under the impetus of Marcel Lapierre (particularly from the 1970s onwards) and then by the family who continue the work today, the estate has helped to redefine Morgon: wines living organisms , with fermentations carried out without artifice, and a search for fruit purity and energy . Alongside the "classic" vintage, the estate also offers a Morgon. “no added sulfur” which pushes this sensation of free, vibrant, incredibly drinkable juice even further, without losing the depth of the vintage.
