Following in the footsteps of his father, Rodolphe de Pins, a leading figure at Château de Montfaucon, Léon de Pins embodies a new chapter in the family's history. With a background in agricultural engineering and a contemporary vision, he brings a breath of fresh air to this historic estate on the right bank of the Rhône. To mark this legacy, he launched the Roc des Pins project, a range distinguished by its freshness, suppleness, and a more immediate interpretation of the terroir. This approach reflects both a respect for the family's roots and a desire to explore a more modern, accessible, and free approach to wine.

Wines at the crossroads of tradition and innovation

Château de Montfaucon, a vast estate of nearly 60 hectares, is currently converting to organic farming. As part of this effort, Léon de Pins showcases Rhône grape varieties with a style that combines authenticity and contemporary energy. The wines produced by Roc des Pins reveal meticulous work, driven by the idea of introducing the Rhône terroirs from a freer and more spontaneous perspective, without denying the depth and elegance that have forged the family reputation.
