Zéroine
Zeroine, the Jura freedom in Rotalier
A winemaker, a Revermont, a signature in the making
Zéroïne is the project of Maylis Bernard , based in Rotalier in the Revermont region of the Jura . Born from a personal journey deeply rooted in the Jura , the adventure began as a demanding micro-negotiation before gradually incorporating vineyards around the estate , with the idea of letting the land speak for itself rather than "creating a style." The guiding principle remains the same: a search for precision , for truth , and that Jura way of embracing imperfections rather than smoothing them over.
Living wines, single plots and free blends, without artifice
At Zéroïne , the focus is on living wines , crafted with minimal intervention : pure, unadulterated flavors , precise aging , and an aesthetic that prioritizes the wine's energy over polish . The cuvées navigate between Jura expressions and freer blends , with a deliberate curiosity for unexpected interpretations , all while maintaining this foundation: allowing the fruit and terroir to express themselves without artifice . A still-young estate , but already recognizable by its delicate tension , its texture , its sense of a wine standing tall —and by a personality that refuses to be pigeonholed .
