Domaine Milan
Domaine Milan: pioneer of natural wine in Provence
Located in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence , Domaine Milan has embodied a free and committed vision of wine for several decades. Created by Robert Milan and then taken over by his son Henri Milan in 1986, the estate has gradually freed itself from conventions to become one of the precursors of natural wine in Provence . Refusal of appellations since 2007, constant search for expression of the terroir, respectful cultural practices: the estate is part of a deeply artisanal and authentic approach.
A philosophy focused on freedom
Henri Milan, inspired by significant encounters with figures in the natural wine world, chose to think outside the box. He focused on winemaking without additives , indigenous yeasts , and non-certified biodynamic methods . The goal is clear: to let the vine, the soil, and the vintage speak for themselves , without any makeup or standardization. This freedom of tone and style is embodied in each vintage.
Emblematic and unique wines
The Domaine Milan range reflects its approach: diverse, free and sensitive . It notably includes the "Le Jardin" cuvée , produced from clay-limestone terroirs blending Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, but also exceptional wines such as "Haru" , a sulphur-free rosé, or "Le Papillon" , a vibrant and mineral white. Each wine tells a story, a place, a vision.
