Pierre Guillemot
Domaine Pierre Guillemot, the discreet elegance of Savigny-lès-Beaune
A family history deeply rooted in the Côte de Beaune
Located in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Domaine Pierre Guillemot is a family-owned property whose history spans several generations. In 1946, Pierre Guillemot re-established the estate after the war, laying the foundations for an adventure that continues today with the Guillemot family at the head of a vineyard spanning approximately 10 hectares. The estate is primarily located on the terroirs of Savigny-lès-Beaune and the Montagne de Corton, two emblematic sectors of the Côte de Beaune.
The vineyard is mainly planted with Pinot Noir, with also a few parcels of Chardonnay and Aligoté. The vines occupy several renowned "climats" of Savigny, including premier crus such as Aux Serpentières, Aux Gravains, Les Jarrons and Les Narbantons.
Terroir wines, faithful to Burgundian tradition
At the estate, the philosophy remains attached to a classic and precise interpretation of Burgundy. Harvests are carried out with care, and winemaking prioritizes respect for the fruit and the terroir. The aging process primarily seeks balance and aging potential, without ever masking the identity of the "climats."
The wines of Pierre Guillemot are renowned for their finesse, freshness, and consistency. The reds offer an elegant expression of Pinot Noir, combining fruit, structure, and depth, while the whites are distinguished by their balance and precision. A historic address in Savigny-lès-Beaune, which discreetly and consistently perpetuates the style of the great wines of the Côte de Beaune.
