Pascal Roblet-Monnot

Domaine Roblet-Monnot: A free vision of the great terroirs of Volnay and Pommard

A family estate driven by Pascal Roblet's convictions

Located in Volnay, Domaine Roblet-Monnot is run by Pascal Roblet, who took over the family vineyards in 1990. Coming from a long line of winemakers, he quickly developed the estate by questioning the traditional practices of the time. After producing powerful wines in the 1990s, he gradually shifted his work towards greater finesse, balance, and depth. Today, certified in organic farming and heavily inspired by biodynamics, he tends his vines with particular attention to the soil, cover crops, and the life of the vineyard.

Long aging to reveal the full depth of Burgundy's climats

In the cellar, Pascal Roblet favors gentle vinification, with measured extractions and particularly long aging in barrels, to allow the wines time to naturally find their balance. Interventions are kept to a minimum, and the wines are generally bottled without filtration and with very little sulfur. This approach produces Burgundies of great personality, where concentration never overrides elegance.

The estate's Volnay, Pommard, and Aligoté wines precisely express their respective climats, blending intensity, freshness, and remarkable aging potential. These are wines of character, profound and vibrant, which are today among the most confidential references on the Côte de Beaune.
