Julian Haart
Julian Haart, Mosel wines of finesse and verticality
Piesport, family heritage and old slate vines
Based in Piesport, Julian Haart is part of one of the oldest winemaking families in the Mosel, while bringing a personal touch to his terroirs. The vines, often very old, are planted on vertiginous slate slopes, worked manually with a respectful and low-intervention approach. Riesling is at the heart of the project, interpreted according to the parcels and maturity levels.
Airy, precise and intensely digestible wines
Julian Haart's wines are distinguished by their low alcohol content, their chiseled acidity and a deceptive sensation of lightness. Behind this finesse lies true depth, brought forth by the soil and time. Slender, luminous Rieslings that favor drinkability and accuracy over ostentation, and which convey the most delicate aspects of the Mosel.
