Based in Roussillon , in the heart of the steep slopes of Latour-de-France , Cyril Fhal is a passionate winemaker, renowned for his rigorous and respectful approach to the terroir . After starting out in the Loire Valley , he settled in this sunny region where he founded Clos du Rouge Gorge . From the outset, Cyril opted for organic and biodynamic viticulture , banning chemical products and working in harmony with nature .

The vines, planted mainly with Carignan and Grenache , flourish on schist and marl soils , with low yields ensuring quality. In the cellar, Cyril Fhal embraces the movement of living wines : fermentations are spontaneous , without the addition of yeasts, and the use of sulfur is strictly limited , or even non-existent.
