A Franco-Portuguese duo rooted in life
Born from the encounter between Charlotte Hugel And Paul Chevreux , the project Vizinho Vinhateiro settles in the Dão , in Portugal, on the hillsides of Farminhão . Here, everything is designed as a return to the roots: vines cultivated using organic farming methods , sometimes worked with animal traction with their mare , and particular care taken with the biodiversity which shapes each plot. Their philosophy is simple: sincere, rooted wines that translate the raw beauty of this granitic and sunny terroir.
Natural vintages, the pure taste of Portugal
In the cellar, the guiding principle is that of a Winemaking without artifice . The grapes are harvested by hand, the fermentations take place in indigenous yeasts are used , and the use of sulfur is reduced to a minimum. The result is wines frank, bright and vibrant , whether red, white or rosé, always marked by the freshness and elegance of Dão . Since their first vintage in In 2021 , Charlotte and Paul produced wines with a distinctive style, both accessible and profound, which captivate with their balance and their living energy .
