La Mariota
An Argentinian passion rooted in Roussillon
Domaine La Mariota, nestled in Roussillon , is run by Cecilia and Guillermo , a passionate couple of Argentinian origin. Both come from a sommelier background, having trained extensively, notably at Danjou-Banessy – no less! Together, they have chosen to produce vibrant wines, respectful of the environment and deeply rooted in their Mediterranean terroir .
Sustainable and artisanal viticulture
The estate distinguishes itself through a sustainable and artisanal approach to viticulture, with complete respect for natural cycles and careful soil management. The grape varieties cultivated, largely indigenous, are vinified with care to reveal the authenticity of the region.
Unique and vibrant vintages
The Roc de la Vella 2023 , for example, is a delicate, pure, and mineral white wine made from Macabeu vines grown in schist soils. Their Orange Tacsum 2022 macerated wine , a unique blend of Muscat of Alexandria and Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains , offers an original and aromatic experience, typical of the estate.
A tribute to the land in every bottle
Thanks to meticulous work in the cellar and absolute respect for the terroir, each bottle of La Mariota is a sensory journey through Roussillon, rich in history and the passion of its winemakers.
