Le Vin Vogueur
Le Vin Vogueur, a Mediterranean oenological odyssey
A traveling project following the rhythm of indigenous lands
Vin Vogueur is the intimate and poetic adventure of Alexandre Morin , a former sommelier turned winemaker. Each year, he sets out to discover a forgotten Mediterranean terroir to vinify indigenous, untreated, and unirrigated grapes , with the utmost respect for the environment. After each harvest, the wine is bottled locally and then sailed back to France… on a merchant sailing ship, to guarantee a minimal carbon footprint.
Committed vintages, imbued with memory and travel
Each vintage is the living expression of a place and a distinctive grape variety — whether it be the Muscat de Kelibia or Asli grape variety from the Kerkennah Islands in Tunisia, or Sardinian grape varieties such as Vermentino, Semidano, Bovale, or Cannonau . The winemaking process is natural, with spontaneous fermentation, indigenous yeasts, and aging on lees in stainless steel tanks or used barrels, without filtration or fining. The result: wines imbued with minerality, saline freshness, fruit, and finesse—reflecting their origin. As an added bonus, the wines are accompanied by a commitment to social responsibility: a portion of the profits is donated to an organization working towards sustainable food systems.
