Domaine Milan
Pioneer of natural wine in Provence
Located in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence , Domaine Milan has embodied a free and committed vision of wine for several decades. Created by Robert Milan and then taken over by his son Henri Milan in 1986, the estate has gradually broken free from conventions to become one of the pioneers of natural wine in Provence . Rejecting appellations since 2007, constantly seeking to express the terroir, and employing respectful farming practices: the estate is committed to a deeply artisanal and authentic approach.
A philosophy geared towards freedom
Henri Milan, inspired by significant encounters with leading figures in the natural wine movement, has chosen to forge his own path. He focuses on winemaking without additives , using indigenous yeasts , and practicing uncertified biodynamic methods . The objective is clear: to let the vine, the soil, and the vintage speak for themselves , without manipulation or standardization. This freedom of expression and style is embodied in each cuvée.
Iconic and unique wines
The Domaine Milan range reflects its approach: diverse, free, and sensitive . It includes the "Le Jardin" cuvée , made from clay-limestone soils blending Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, as well as exceptional wines like "Haru ," a rosé made from pressed grapes without added sulfites, and "Le Papillon ," a vibrant and mineral white. Each wine tells a story, evokes a place, and expresses a vision.
