Antoine Jobard
Antoine Jobard, the Silent Precision of Meursault
An emblematic lineage of the Côte de Beaune
Based in Meursault, Antoine Jobard took over the family estate from his father François Jobard, a key figure in Burgundy's great white wines. He continues this tradition with undiminished exacting standards, maintaining a very rigorous approach both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
The estate relies on very beautiful plots in the Côte de Beaune, primarily with Chardonnay, cultivated with precision and without seeking excessive yields.
Long aging, tension and depth
Antoine Jobard's wines are built to last. The aging processes are long, often in barrels without excessive new oak, with a desire to preserve the wine's natural tension.
These are white wines that do not seek to immediately seduce: they are closed in their youth, straightforward, sometimes austere, but gain in depth with time. This very particular signature of Meursault is found: minerality, structure, length, with remarkable aging potential.
A demanding, uncompromising Burgundy, which rewards patience.
