Lalu
Azienda Agricola Lalù, the dawn of a free Langhe
Two women, a friendship, and a Piedmontese landscape
On the prestigious slopes of the Langhe , between La Morra and Monforte d'Alba, Lara Rocchetti and Luisa Sala combined their passion to found Lalù. After experiences abroad (South Africa, Argentina) and studies at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, they invested in approximately 3.5 hectares where Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes define their style. The carefully cultivated soil benefits from organic viticulture , minimal intervention winemaking , and a gravity-flow approach that respects the grapes. This young but determined project affirms its commitment: to produce elegant, sensitive wines deeply rooted in the Piedmontese terroir.
Wines made without additives, elegance and terroir revealed
At Lalù, each bottle is a vibrant expression of the terroir and the harvest: gentle farming, measured maceration, and restrained aging . The result is both expressive and ethereal: pure red fruit, sometimes floral, invigorating acidity, fine tannins, and a refined finish. These wines reflect a less conventional, more subtle Langhe , where rigor meets freedom. Lalù embodies a new voice in Piedmont : that of a duo who listen to the land, work with the grapes, and offer a contemporary vision of great Italian wine .
