Maison Alumni
An artisanal and committed micro-trade in Burgundy
Founded in 2023 by Adrien (second in command at Chandon de Briailles) and his partner, also at Agnès Paquet, Maison Alumni is a passionate micro-business born of a common desire: to create their own wines while continuing their work for their respective estates. With a confidential production of around ten barrels a year, Maison Alumni focuses on micro-cuvées from Burgundy terroirs, highlighting the vintage effect and authenticity of the wines.
Natural, precise and traditional winemaking
Their approach is simple and respectful: controlled vinification, with a minimum of intervention and a maximum of attention, to obtain wines that are straightforward and sincere. If a dose of sulfur is necessary, they use only mine sulfur, which they prepare themselves. Certified organic, the domaine works in an artisanal way, with a manual press, hand destemming and gravity.
A range of micro-cuvées revealing the richness of Burgundy's terroirs
Their first cuvée, a Bourgogne Aligoté 2023 (900 bottles), spent 7 months in barrel and 4 months in stainless steel tanks before bottling in August 2024. In December, they will bottle their Hautes-Côtes de Nuits and Mâcon Péronne whites, as well as a Bourgogne Pinot Noir. Bourgogne Les Chaillots and Savigny 1er Cru will spend an additional winter in barrel.
Maison Alumni: the expression of a new-generation Burgundy
Maison Alumni embodies a new-generation Burgundy, combining precision, respect for terroirs and commitment to craftsmanship. Wines to discover for lovers of authenticity and singularity.
