A committed estate in Ostheim
In Ostheim , Jérôme François created La Grange de l'Oncle Charles in 2014, on land bequeathed by his grandfather. The estate covers approximately 6 hectares , cultivated biodynamically , without chemicals, with ploughing carried out using draft horses and Ouessant sheep for the maintenance of the vines. The grape varieties are cultivated in co-planting , a rare practice in Alsace.
