Maison Réno

Réno Pacalet's domaine is located between the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits and Beaune. After several summers working on a wine estate in Tuscany from 2014 to 2016 and obtaining a master's degree in Strasbourg, Réno Pacalet joined the Philippe Pacalet family estate in 2019. He now focuses mainly on white wines during the harvest. In 2020, although projects abroad were considered, the pandemic prompted him to stay on to develop his skills alongside his father, working from the vineyard to the cellar, as well as commercially. In 2021, he obtained the BTSA Viticulture Œnologie in Beaune, validating his technical skills. In 2023, the creation of Maison Réno in Chassagne-Montrachet marked a new stage, producing his own wines from selected terroir grapes. Influenced by exchanges with his father Philippe Pacalet and other renowned winemakers, Réno Pacalet's philosophy favors natural methods, terroir authenticity and minimal use of sulfites. The estate's winemaking principles include rigorous grape sorting, the use of indigenous yeasts, and meticulous ageing in vats or barrels for both red and white wines.
