Domaine Bordaxuria: a high-altitude vineyard in the heart of the Basque Country

Domaine Bordaxuria , located in Ispoure near Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in the Basque Country , is a family-run wine estate that covers 9.5 hectares of terraced vines . Founded by Elorri Reca and Brice Robelet in 2014 , the estate is cultivated according to the principles of organic farming .

The vines are mainly composed of local grape varieties such as Tannat , Cabernet Franc , Petit Manseng , Gros Manseng and Petit Courbu . The unique terroir of Domaine Bordaxuria, characterized by red sandstone soils and exposure to oceanic influences , allows for the production of exceptional wines .

A diversity of vintages rooted in their terroir

The estate produces red, white, rosé and even an orange wine , all reflecting the distinctive character and identity of the region .
