La Soufrandière

Domaine de la Soufrandière , located in Vinzelles , Burgundy , is run by Jean-Philippe and Jean-Guillaume Bret , two passionate winemakers who have made respect for life and precision their signature. Since their arrival in 2000, they have been cultivating their 12 hectares of vines biodynamically , Demeter certified, with the ambition of revealing the unique identity of the Mâconnais terroirs.
A vineyard on the great terroirs of the Mâconnais
The estate covers the Pouilly-Vinzelles, Pouilly-Fuissé and Mâcon-Vinzelles appellations, with limestone and clay-limestone soils that give the wines a beautiful mineral tension. Here, the Chardonnay expresses itself with purity and elegance, giving rise to vibrant vintages, combining finesse and depth.
Natural and precise vinifications
The vinifications are made with indigenous yeasts, without superfluous inputs, and the aging in barrels or vats is perfectly controlled to preserve the freshness and energy of the fruit. At the same time, the Bret brothers created their Bret Brothers business, which applies the same requirement to the grapes selected from partner winegrowers.
