Clément Soenen
Clément Soenen – Natural wines and freedom in Burgundy
Based in Irancy in Burgundy, Clement Soenen shakes up the codes with frank, vibrant, and resolutely free vintages. He took over the Podor estate at the end of 2024, converting it to organic farming. He cultivates an artisanal and instinctive approach to wine, where each vintage tells the story of a vintage, a grape variety, and a spirit.
Natural, unfiltered wines full of life
The grapes are grown organically, vinified with indigenous yeasts, without added sulfur or intervention. Clément works with the emblematic grape varieties of Burgundy (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir) and sometimes marginal grape varieties, such as Gamay Dyer of his vintage Red Anger . The result: lively, digestible, straightforward wines, both modern and deeply rooted in their terroir.
Its style will appeal to lovers of sincere wines, who seek to drink wine without artifice, but with personality. Each bottle is a manifesto of freedom, emotion, and accuracy.
