Gilles Berlioz
Living and peasant-style viticulture
Horses, local varieties and zero artifices
The estate's vines are ploughed with the help of a horse, without the use of chemical weedkillers, thus promoting environmentally-friendly viticulture. The principle of "one terroir, one grape variety, one cuvée" guides his production, highlighting the expression of each terroir. In particular, Gilles Berlioz cultivates local grape varieties such as Jacquère, Altesse and Roussanne, enabling him to produce authentic wines representative of the richness of Savoy terroirs.
A shared, collaborative and demanding estate
Dialogue at the heart of excellence
In 2016, the estate was renamed "Domaine Partagé", reflecting the community and associative spirit of the project. Exchange and solidarity are at the heart of this initiative, and Gilles and Christine benefit from interactions with their team and other winemakers to constantly improve their practices and enhance the terroirs. This collaborative approach reinforces the estate's commitment to sustainable, respectful viticulture.
Each bottle, a manifesto for Savoie
