Château Mangot

Château Mangot , the reimagined generosity of Saint-Émilion

Heritage, nature and rigor on the Right Bank

In the heart of the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation, Château Mangot has been steadily forging its own path since the Todeschini family took over. The vineyard stretches across a single block of approximately 34 hectares , nestled in a landscape of rolling hills where clay and flint-veined limestone interact with the fully ripened Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The estate reached a major milestone with its organic certification starting with the 2020 vintage , a testament to its strong commitment to living ecosystems and active biodiversity.

Living wines, balance and authenticity

The wines of Château Mangot are distinguished by their beautiful fruity breadth, silky tannins, and crisp freshness that makes them approachable while also suggesting excellent aging potential. The nose opens with ripe black and red fruits, sometimes with hints of licorice or spice, while the palate reveals a style that is both generous and precise. The tannic structure is elegantly integrated and supported by a subtle minerality derived from the ancient soils. Château Mangot thus embodies a modern vision of great Saint-Émilion wine : respectful of its roots, open to evolution, and resolutely focused on expressing the terroir.
