Domaine de la Grand'Cour
A family emblematic of natural wine in the Beaujolais region
The Dutraive family embodies the soul of natural Beaujolais with passion and authenticity. At the head of the Domaine de la Grand'Cour in Fleurie since 1989 , Jean-Louis Dutraive has established himself as a benchmark in Gamay by cultivating his vines organically and favoring winemaking without additives .
Dutraive Family, an adventure born from adversity
Family continuity around Gamay
In 2016, after devastating hailstorms, Jean-Louis and his children Ophélie, Justin and Lucas launched the Famille Dutraive project. This initiative allows them to select grapes from vineyards cultivated with the same high standards, while maintaining a natural and minimally interventionist approach in the cellar.
Vibrant and lively wines, reflections of natural Beaujolais
The vintages, such as the Beaujolais-Villages Lantignié, the Chénas " Les Perelles " or the Fleurie "Les Déduits", reveal all the finesse and energy of Gamay, enhanced by carbonic maceration fermentation and aging in concrete vats or barrels. With its vibrant, pure and delicious wines, the Dutraive family perpetuates a tradition of lively and sincere wines , true reflections of the great terroirs of Beaujolais.
