Domaine de Chevillard
Domaine de Chevillard, located in Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny , in the heart of the Combe de Savoie, is an organic vineyard of approximately 10 hectares . Founded by Matthieu Goury, originally from the hamlet of Chevillard, the estate is named after the village where his grandparents lived. Coming from a family of winegrowers, Matthieu acquired solid experience in Savoie, Canada and Australia before creating his own estate.
Demanding and committed Alpine viticulture
Indigenous grape varieties and Savoyard terroirs
The vineyard is planted with indigenous grape varieties such as Mondeuse, Altesse and Jacquère, cultivated on varied soils (limestone, marl-limestone and clay-limestone) with a south/southeast exposure, promoting full maturity of the grapes.
Organic farming and biodynamic transition
The viticulture has been organic since 2017 and in biodynamic conversion since 2020, with manual harvests and low-intervention vinification.
Cuvées raised with precision and patience
Dual ageing for authentic wines
The wines are aged for one year in barrels and one year in bottles before being marketed, offering authentic and unique vintages.
Savoyard excellence in red and white
Domaine de Chevillard embodies the excellence of Savoie wines, producing red and white vintages in AOP Vin de Savoie and Roussette de Savoie, combining finesse, structure and complexity.
