Thibault Tassin

Family Tradition and Artisanal Purity

A Historic House in the Heart of the Côte des Bar

Located in the heart of the Côte des Bar, Champagne Tassin is a family-run estate with a history that dates back to the late 18th century. Known for its traditional expertise, the estate has seen several generations of passionate winemakers. In the 1920s, Émile Tassin, a bold visionary, chose to begin producing and marketing his own Champagnes, a rare decision at a time when most growers still sold their grapes to négociants.

A Living Heritage, Between Tradition and Modernity

Following World War II, Bernard Tassin gave new momentum to the estate by reviving the vines and refining winemaking practices. In 2015, the new generation, Thibault Tassin, took over the reins. He ushered in a modern renewal with initiatives such as creating a tasting space within the historic cellars and opening the estate to international exports, all while embracing a natural winemaking approach.

Natural, Precise, and Respectful Champagnes

Thibault Tassin crafts natural Champagnes, using minimal to no additives, allowing the purity of the grapes and the authenticity of the Côte des Bar terroirs to shine through. This artisanal method favors an elegant style, where terroir expression takes precedence over oenological manipulation.

A Signature of Refinement and Commitment

Today, Champagne Tassin stands out with refined, sincere cuvées, born of a deep respect for ancestral techniques and an ongoing commitment to excellence. Thibault carries forward a sustainable and artisanal vision, confirming his place among Champagne’s most promising grower-producers.
