Domaine Puy de l'Ours

Domaine du Puy de l’Ours, a new generation in Savigny-lès-Beaune

Jean Orsoni and Juliette Puyperoux, a return to their roots in Burgundy

Established in 2021 in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Domaine du Puy de l’Ours is the project of Jean Orsoni and Juliette Puyperoux. The name of the estate was born from the contraction of their two family names. After careers far removed from viticulture, they chose to take over Juliette's family vineyards, which had been in Burgundy for several generations, and to sign their own wines. The estate currently covers approximately 5 hectares, spread between Savigny-lès-Beaune, Savigny Premier Cru, and Côte de Beaune, with the first vintage produced in 2021.

The vines are managed organically, with particular attention paid to soil work and respecting natural balances. Each plot is approached individually to best reveal the identity of the terroirs of Savigny-lès-Beaune.

Wines of precision, all in finesse

In the cellar, Jean and Juliette favor minimal intervention winemaking, with gentle extractions and measured aging that allow the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to fully express themselves. Their ambition is to produce precise, elegant wines deeply rooted in their origin, without attempting to mask the vintage or the terroir.

The wines of Domaine du Puy de l’Ours captivate with their freshness, energy, and refinement. Whether it's the reds from Savigny-lès-Beaune or the whites from Côte de Beaune
