Fil de Soie
Fil de Soie: A Contemporary Interpretation of Burgundy's Great Terroirs
A Passion for Burgundy as the Starting Point
Fil de Soie is a recent Burgundian project born from its founders' passion for the region's great terroirs. Before creating their own house, the project's initiators spent over a decade in international wine trade, interacting with numerous Burgundian winemakers, whose expertise and philosophy they gradually absorbed. This immersion in the heart of the vineyard led to a clear vision: to produce wines that prioritize terroir expression above all else.
The name Fil de Soie evokes delicacy, precision, and the link between tradition and modernity. This identity is reflected in all the wines produced, from regional appellations to the grand terroirs of the Côte de Beaune.
Wines Built on Finesse and Balance
The range is built around the great Burgundian grape varieties, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with a constant search for purity and elegance. The wines prioritize fruit freshness, terroir readability, and measured aging that allows the identity of each appellation to shine through.
From regional cuvées to more prestigious appellations like Corton-Charlemagne, Aloxe-Corton, or Beaune Premier Cru Clos des Mouches, Fil de Soie pursues the same ambition: to offer precise, balanced, and easily understood wines, while remaining deeply rooted in Burgundian tradition.
An Elegant, Unpretentious Burgundy
The wines of Fil de Soie charm with their natural finesse and their ability to express the character of each terroir without excessive power. This approach favors harmony, texture, and emotion over ostentation, offering a modern and sensitive interpretation of Burgundy.
