Cyril le Moing

Cyril Le Moing, Anjou unadulterated and unpretentious

Thouarcé, a path born from contact with the living

Based in Anjou, near Martigné-Briand / Thouarcé, Cyril Le Moing launched his own estate in 2003, after a significant experience with Mark Angeli. He started with one hectare of vines, then gradually acquired plots that inspired him, meticulously cultivated without seeking to conform to overly rigid frameworks.

His world is built around the great Loire grape varieties: Chenin, Cabernet, Gamay, Grolleau, but also some more personal experiments, such as ungrafted Chardonnay. Here, wine is crafted with an emphasis on freedom, observation, and respect for the grape.

Living wines, raw energy, and assertive personality

The wines of Cyril Le Moing are unadorned: low-intervention winemaking, frank juices, sometimes perplexing, but always driven by a true energy. The reds, like Pachamama, explore Cabernet Sauvignon and Anjou grape varieties in a supple, lively, and digestible style, while the whites, such as Aïgua, give Chenin a more taut, vibrant, and deeply personal expression.

This is a free, artisanal, and always sincere Loire: wines that do not seek to please everyone, but rather to frankly tell the story of their place, their vintage, and the hand of the winemaker.
